anyone know of any free tourneys?
 

im not really talking about a freeroll because those usually require you to sign up and make a deposit. i just want to try playing in a free tourney that may or may not pay cash.

'stars has them, there are lots of sites that have a multi-site listing if you google "freeroll tournaments"

Actually, most freerolls don't require a deposit first. The best one is on Bet365 Saturday afternoons. The prize pool is 5K.

Check Bodog also. I believe they have a couple a day with at least $500 or $1000 prize pools.

Absolute Poker has them like every half hour most of the time. Some other sites that have qualifiers that allow you to play in freerolls on the weekend are PokerStars, UltimateBet, and JetSet Poker. Paradise had some really big ones for the holidays too.
