I hate this because the raiser left themselves with 300 chips and I'm not sure what to make of it. They're brain dead and don't want to commit all their chips with a mediocre hand, or they want some company for their monster?

Curious what people think UTG has and what you would need to make this call.

did someone say stop n go? Thsees $22 donks WILL fold getting great odds... hell some might even fold preflop-- because of your stack size, i like stop n go line.

HOWEVER it looks like a QQ-99 kinda hand... ya know what i mean.. which means u are prett far behind-- so again stop n go.... YMMV

Not a stop and go because OP will not be first to act after the flop. I fold here barring an exceptional read.

Sometimes if I am in the short stack's postion and have in the 4-5BB range, I will raise 3xBB like he did so that those who are not paying attention to stack sizes might fold (not realizing I don't have much behind my raise).

And sometime those who are paying attention to my stack size will fold too because they think I have a monster (because I didn't go all in).

With that said, I wouldn't fold holding AQs in CO to this short stacks almost all-in raise. Usually I'd call and occasionally I'd reraise.

I would put him on the exact same range as if he had pushed it all in. I would never call here with AQs. If I wanted to play it I would push to isolate. What range of hands I push here depends on the table.

I would fold. You are in great stealing position with three 1200ish stack to your right. At this point, you don't need a confrontation in which you will be 55%-45% favorite on the average. Even though he might not have a very good hand, there is no way he is folding this before or after flop.
