Jman Fixes his Game Today

Hey guys. I decided to post this so I don't back out.

Today, and maybe tomorrow, I will be working heavily on my game.

For whatever reason, I hate not 8 tabling. I guess because I like money. I realized though, that making my game better will be much more profitable than not doing so. Plus, I just want to be a better player. Pride stuff.

My plan today is to play 1-4 tables. As many as I can while still paying attention to most big hands, and taking extensive player notes. I will put a lot of thought into the hands I play, and post as many tough decisions as I can on here.

I may even post an entire HH... I'm not sure.

I will then study SNGPT for 1 hour minimum. I'm not sure I could handle more, but I'll try.

So, any other suggestions for improving my game? Am I unreasonable to think that 1-2 days will make a difference? Is this post a waste of everone's time?

Thanks.

every minute you study your game makes a difference

I'll be looking forward to the hands that you post

sounds like you have a decent plan worked up here. If you're only going to be single tabeling, you might try playing step 5s or something higher than the usual.

I though about that, but:

a) I'd like to get some good notes on some regular 215 opponents
b) I don't want to be too emotionally involved, which I may be with Steps
c) I don't know. There were just 2 reasons I guess.

I'm still considering it. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try not to dissapoint with the hands.

1 game down

One game 1-tabling, one 1st place. Man this is easy.

One hand that prolly isn't too exciting...

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (10 handed) converter

SB (t910)
BB (t1010)
UTG (t1025)
UTG+1 (t1000)
Hero (t1025)
MP1 (t975)
MP2 (t925)
MP3 (t940)
CO (t1170)
Button (t1020)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls t30, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to t125</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP2 calls t125, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333"> UTG+1 Pushes (t1000) </font>, Hero thinks and folds.

Hope it wasn't one of you guys on a bluff.

I'll post interesting hands in their own threads.

Yes. Might try a STEP 5 or two later.

cool. fwiw, i think that folding there in a 55 or even most 109s is terrible.
