Set of 3s at NL400

I really dont like the way I played this hand.

I am very new to the tabe so unfortanetly not much of reads here more than MP seemed to have pretty loose calling requirements (dont know much about raising req.) preflop.

I almost always leads with my sets with a 3/4pot to PSB (esp. on action flops like this one) but took a different line here because I thought it was a great time to check it to let preflop raiser bet and putting everyone else between me and him. Good, bad?

Comments on flop turn and river is very appreciated.

I can't see folding this river.

Loose raise calling requirements generally means at least semi-loose raising requirements, which puts two-pair in his range quite often.

He has to hit a piece to continuation-bet this flop. Look at all of the hands that can call!

Bet the flop.

I don't mind the flop, considering the board and your position. I am also pushing this turn and calling this river.

He had a read on MP, not CO.

I pot this flop 95% of the time.

I would almost always bet the flop.

But, if I did check, I'd push AI on the turn when I got raised.

I don't see how you can fold the river given the way you played it. You can't disguise the strength of your hand and then fold to aggression. If you are going to fold this river you should most definitely be betting the flop in spots like this.

PFR may not have expected 3 people to call, and is less likely to continuation bet with air.

Board is ridiculously draw heavy, and lots of hands can call you.

You know it and I know it, this is not the spot to go for the check/raise on the flop.

Since you did, you should push the turn.

Edit: Oh yeah, and call river. Lotsa two pair hands could be out there, and not too many guys would semi-bluff with a flush draw after checking the flop.

On the other hand, that board may very well have hit PFR. Perhaps it tilts in the draw-heavy direction, though.

And you should not pot the flop because? If he can lay down TPTK, good for him.
