SGA - help

I just noticed yesterday that under file section of the toolbar - "Open Tournament." You can then select an HH from your hard drive, and SGA then pops up a window called Tournament Browser.

The result is a table with 10 columns. Does anybody know what use this is for?

yeah, double-click on any non-red hand and it'll show you your +/- ev for pushing

use it to go over your tourneys after you are done each day and see where you pushed poorly or where you missed good pushes and you'll start to build your instinct

make sure to adjust the ranges tho...i usually just put it on maniac to see if it's +/- unless i have a good reason not to...

it's also nice because when u have a surprising answer (like 105o is +.6% in this situation with maniac opps?) then u can run the calculate all and it'll tell u the range that is >.5% ev...so u can start to make models of when top 50%, top 80%, top 100% hands can be pushed

SGA=Sit-n-Go Analyzer
SNGPT=Sit-n-Go Power Tools

Two names for a software package created by poster eastbay. There is a link in the FAQ.

You will also see it refered to as PT, eastbay's program, ICM tool, and random combinations of all of the above.

Hmm. I guess SGA is really lacking a proper manual at this point. You've had it for months and just now saw this?

Click any (black) hand to load it. Double click to analyze it.

It's for tournament review purposes.

LOL, I just went to the meat of the program, and am now expanding my horizons. Noticed there's some "more lessons to come" as well.

How come some hands are red?? What is different about them that makes it unable to process?

Analyzable hands are open-pushes and calls of a single all-in.

If there is a raiser in front of you (say a minraise), for example, then this is not analyzable by the standard method.
