Tropicana AC spreading 15/30
 

I was at the Trop on Saturday and they called a 15/30. I am really excited about this since I like the room but hardly go there because their highest limit is 10/20 and that only occasionally spreads. Anyone else see this as a step up? Also would anyone start going to the tropicana if they can get middle limit games spread regularly?

Are you sure it was holdem? I was there in the summer and they spread 15-30-45 stud and stud hi-lo even on weekdays but the 10-20 only went on weekends. The bigger holdem action there was NL 1-2 $300max and I think 2-5 $500 max. There might have been bigger but I only played the 1-2.

Yeah it was holdem I played in the game for a few hours. They have always had the 15/30/45 game which is stud/8, 10/20/30 is there big stud high game.

I was in there on Friday and was on the list of interest for 15/30, along with about 14 people and they never called the game. I kept asking the floor when they were gonna start and kept telling me....not yet. They should have been drooling at the chance to start a 15 game there but the clown kept delaying it....anyway I left and went to the taj

Did they drop any other games? They really need to sort out the 6/12, 7.5/15, 10/20 mess; that many games that close together is a pain for starting and keeping games. I half expect to see a post: Tropicana now spreads 2/4, 3/6, 4/8, 5/10, 6/12, 7.5/15, 9/18, 10/20, 15/30, 20/40, 25/50 . . .

This is good news. I like Trop, but don't go b/c they don't spread games I want. I always thought they had potential to spread bigger, esp. with the quarter greatly increasing casino foot traffic. Hopefully they can go higher (maybe 30-60 or 40-80) in the future.

I was there playing the pink game Saturday mid-day and there was a $15/30 going as far as I could tell. They called a few players for it while I was there... no 6/12 game was going, however. The pink game was interesting, and I liked the 3 chip/6 chip structure -- but most of the truly awful players left the game in my first hour at the table, and I was left with a bunch of TP-P regulars and a middle aged player in the 10 seat that played quite well. If nothing else, the blinds play of the TP-P regulars (mostly, but not entirely older guys) was so awful that the game was good.

No 6/12 you say? Did they have multiple pink tables running?
