River call is awful.

Tempted to fold the turn. 9.25:1 on a 4 outer.

*grunch*

I think the flop-raise is ok. Betting the turn is ok. Villain might be just as scared of the board as you are. And if you check behind he will probably bet the river, putting you in a guessing mode that would lead you to call. So you can invest that same BB on the turn betting out. But I would definitely fold to the check-raise. The probability that he has some freak [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] is just too huge. A call down is not a good idea imo, unless villain is a notorious bluffer.

I think 4 outs with no discount is already quite optimistic. Villain could be betting with some A or K with a [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] sidecard. So you could easily be drawing to 2 or 3 outs only.

unless you have a strong read, this is an instamuck after he raises you on the turn. honestly I'd check this turn. he's not folding a diamond, and a check on the turn encourages a bluff from him on the river.

edit: hmmm, actually I didn't do the math right. 9.25:1 is probably good enough to catch our four-outer as we'll get extra action from a high flush. also you have outs to a split pot. still, I prefer a check on the turn. the river is a definite fold.
