New Player....No CC...No Checking Account....How can I get him some $
 

I just got a buddy of mine signed up on Paradise. I can transfer him cash but he isn't eligible for the signup bonus until he actually deposits.

I'm gonna loan him some cash and help him build up a roll. Anyone have any ideas short of paying Neteller way too much money on a transfer? The signup bonuses on sites will be nice starting out.

He will have to get a checking account eventually in order to get Neteller verified, right? It's been awhile since I did it.

That's not the point of the post. In order for his buddy to get the deposit bonus, he has to deposit the money using an actual payment method. Also, I'm assuming he won't be able to cash out.

Anyways, if your buddy is old enough to play poker, he is CERTAINLY old enough for a checking account/Neteller account.

Um this makes no sense. 1.9% neteller fee in transferring to his account ----> 20% or more bonus. You guys net 18%+ more by doing a neteller transfer and keep everything legit in case you ever play at the same tables/limits.

Or is there another story??

He has a Neteller account and will be going to get a checking account soon. The point of the post was to get playing ASAP without paying the damn Neteller fees.

Yes, he is plenty old enough to play poker and there is no super hush hush mafia money laundering scheme going on, sorry.

I just don't understand the number of people that don't have checking accounts. His parents should be ashamed that they have not set one up years ago for him. Learning to manage a checking account is a very important part of growing up.

The answer to the OP's question is to transfer money to him from your Paradise account to yours. When he has built it up to a reasonable amount, cash out $200 to Neteller and then redeposit to get the sign up bonus.
