Medium PP Questions

I'm really trying to work on my medium pocket pair play. I honestly think I suck at it. My default line is to push until pushed back and then usually fold. I am going to include some examples in this thread and tell me how you would play it.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
5 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, 2 folds, CO calls.

Flop: (5.50 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets, CO calls.

Turn: (3.75 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets, CO raises, Hero?

Do you bet this flop when checked to? Do you fold to the turn c/r or just check through?

Villain is 30/1.5 with a .3 flop ag and a 1.18 turn ag.

when it's U like this, bet the flop every time. I bet the turn pretty much every time with no read. Check river UI.

When he c/r's the turn, it's a clear fold

Fold the turn and I will say nice hand.

Flop bet is fine HU - I'm hoping for a fold when I do that, though.

Unless CO has bluff-c/r'ed the turn before, I fold this every day of the week, hoping he'll do it again when I've flopped my set.

Here's another one.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP2 calls, 2 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero?

SB is 28/13/1.5
MP2 is 72/0/.7

Do you bet this or wait for a safe card on the turn? Or do you just c/f?

Not loving the preflop raise. If CO folded then yes.

Fold the turn--with the c/r he is definitely betting the board and you are way behind.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero calls, 2 folds, CO raises, 2 folds, BB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets, Hero?

It's not a terrible flop for us. Do you guys bet out or fold?

BB is 33/1.6/.4
CO is 38/17.5/.85

Sorry if these are easy. Reviewing this, I'm guessing that with BB's ag it's an easy fold. I just know I'm missing out on +EV opportunities with small and medium PPs and need to fix it.

Would you mind explaining the pf raise?

I'm in late position and the villain is LP. I don't remember the hand specifically, but I assume I felt like I had a good chance of folding the button and at least one of the blinds. Also, with this players ag he's going to have to hit to win the pot. I wanted to take control of the hand.

Edit: Sorry, I am the button which makes a raise even more attractive to me as I have great position and can probably get one or both of the blinds to fold.
