Bubble Bursting....
 

Bubble of $5R on Party. 120th takes home a whopping $20. Table has tightened up since hand for hand and I have 13K with 34K being the average. I pick up A3 in EP and push hoping for the blinds, I realize I am getting called here by higher A's and what not but my contention is that making this in EP will tighten my range for my opponents and maximize my FE, thereby increasing my odds of taking the t3000 in the pot from the blinds. Do you hate it?

I don't hate the push. But I doubt 5r opponents are taking into account your push from MP1 and adjusting their hand ranges accordingly and tightening up.

If the table is tight I would push alot of hands here -- You're pretty low and I'm willing to take some chances.

There was 5 players left till the bubble was over and I wanted to at the very worst get up to around 20K in that time, I hadn't been getting much and I think a villian's range to call here is AJ+, 88+ and maybe KQ (which I would be ahead of) so I like my chances of not getting called. MP3 actually admitting to folding AJ in that spot which illustrates why I made the push in the first place.

I do the same (and on sunday in the 215 made the exact same move ITM with A2o utg and 5bbs).
