what are the chances of having an over pair?

with a medium pocket pair?

with things like TT and JJ i'm torn beetween playing it like a high pair, raising, and then betting the flop if my pair is an overpair, or just calling for set value.

so what are the chances that my pocket pair is the overpair on the flop for:

JJ
TT
99

last time i played TT like an overpair, the flop came rags, but it turned out the guy had QQ...

I *think* you're asking if you hold those hands, what are the odds that the flop will be all undercards.

J-J:
C(36,3)/C(50,3) = 36.43%

10-10:
C(32,3)/C(50,3) = 25.31%

9-9:
C(28,3)/C(50,3) = 16.71%
