General pre-flop question
 

If you're playing three-handed, the button is first to act. Obviously you should play pretty loose and aggressive here. If it's folded to the button in a 10-handed game, should you play the button any different than you would in a 3-handed game? Tighter? If so, why?

In a 3 handed game you have to play a ton of hands or you will not be able to beat the cost of the blinds. Your opponents know this and will defend their blinds religiously. According to HEPFAP you can even limp in on the button if you know that the blinds are going to come along for the raise. There isn't really any EV to be gained by raising A2o or K9o if you know for sure that the blinds will call.

In a 10 handed game (assuming its not ultra-tough) you could probably be a winning player if never once attempted to steal a blind. Some of your opponents might not realize what you are doing. Plus in a full game your opponets will be much more likey to just check/fold the flop while in a three handed game you will a lot of checkraises all over the place which result in difficult decisions for you.
