Nothing too special about this opponent.

Comments appreciated.

Re: T9s line...

Huh?

Sometimes I would call the flop. The vast majority of the time I would raise a lot more than you did.

WTF are you doing on the turn?

this hand baffles me, even more so than Prahlad's email to Kane.

Given the line as is, what range of hands do you put the villian on?

pretty obvious he can only have the JdTd here.

This is one of those reverse posts to show how bad your opponent played, right?

Sweet. Garland knew his op turned the nuts! Or am I reading this wrong?

Thoughts...

I made a couple mistakes on this hand, and I'm glad for the criticism.

(1) I should have raised more on the flop, probably to $85 or something.

(2) Admittedly, I was so engrossed by his turn lead that I was too busy putting my opponent on a hand and overlooked my new outs, namely the straight Js.

My thoughts when the Q turned was he had the following hands in order from most probable to least:

JT for the nut straight, Q9, a set, two pair.

Opponents here don't call a flop raise and lead the turn without a solid hand. So now my thoughts were, I didn't want to catch my 9 or T and spew more money on the river. On the flip side, I was certain a diamond was good and now see the J outs that I overlooked while playing. I had good implied odds with a diamond that didn't pair the board.

The price was fair as he bet a little more than half the pot. I was wrong, and I should have called. However, if he bet the full pot, I would probably have to fold. Sound right?
