Music creation software question

Anyone know if there is a software program where I could play music on the computer? The keys would be the 'notes'.

I can type, but I could never coordinate two hands on a piano...

Try renoise it is a music tracker. www.renoise.com
(I've used it. It's not easy but you can play piano with your keyboard [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img])
