KK against half the table

Multi-table Party NL Hold 'em tourney of the $20 variety. Blinds are 150/300.

UTG raises to 1879 all-in.
UTG+1 calls 1879. His stack 13.5k.
CO calls 1879. He has about 1600 left.

Hero is in the SB with KK. He decides to flat call...

Main Pot: $7816
Flop: [ 3c, Ac, 8h ]

Big stack leads out, CO calls, I fold.

Hero is crazy for flat calling OOP in a raised pot w/ 3 other people in it. push. that.

since you went at it he way you did. just give up.

Re: KK against half the table

I had about 1100 left after the call.

Here was my dilemma... With the pot already at 7816 and me only having 1100 over the raise, there was no pushing out the 2 callers. Also, I can't see at least one of the 3 people in not having an ace.

The intention was the throw the rest in on any flop without an Ace. Basically, self-preservation on a hopeless flop and maximum value (since you know they'll call 1100) if I'm golden. If it's bad, let me have it.

Re: KK against half the table

yea that's bad. you can get your stack all in preflop against 2 guys and you'll have like 70% equity to triple up and then some.

plus, it's not like you just win the pot if you get them to fold on the flop.. you still have to beat a guy.

Re: KK against half the table

First of all, 70% equity? How crazy are you assuming these people are?

Secondly, the intention is not to push them out on the flop. I assume they call regardless of whether I push it in before the flop or after. All I'm trying to do is dodge death if the Ace hits.

yea. i exagerated, you have like 47% in the main pot, 57% in the side pot.
