The all-in blind steal fest... how do I play ?

Playing $30+3 S&G's at Party. (top 3 places pay)

It seems that every time I play in these games when it gets
down to the last 5 players it just becomes an all-in fest to
steal the blinds until players get knocked out.

My normal tight game will always get me into the top five
but I want to push for the money places and all that seems
to happen is I get dragged into coin-toss situations no
matter how I bet pre flop.

What is the best way to play this type of behaviour ?
Play certain hand groupings only ?
Use first in vigorish ?
Protect Blinds ?
Sit back and hope the others knock themselves out ?
A combination of the above ?

any advice appreciated

Join the all-in fest. Look for good opporunities to steal.

Thanks for advice, I was trying to see if there was a way
of playing through the meelee but it sounds like this isn't
going to be possible.

So basically just try and hit them when I have a fairly
decent hand to get the blinds or go into a HU as the
favorite.

Do all tournaments end up like this ?

Sit & Go tournys (SnG's) have basically 4 separate parts:
1. Early Levels ( 1 -3)
2. Mid - Levels (4-6 typically)
3. Bubble Play (4 players left)
4. ITM Play (3 Players left)

Now, go find somebody to teach you how to conduct yourself in each of those separate segments & you'll do fine

Been reading Harrington, Sklanski etc but there isn't much
from them regarding the all in fest.

Gap concept, inflection points, M, Q, etc all understood
but go out of window when someone calls my AKs all in with
Q7 and knocks me out lol

Are there any decent players who'll give some hand histories for free? Just a few to study so I can see how you play in certain situations, so I don't have to ask 314550208 basic questions.

I believe Sklansky does discuss all-in strategies at length in his tournament book (TPAP) - including the difficulty for good players of defending against weak players using all-in strategies...
