No reads. If you plan on doing something different you have to say if you are folding to a raise/3-bet. Thanks,

Re: nh k?

i checkraise the turn and fold to a 3bet. if you dont feel comfortable folding however then i think the way you played it is ok.

Re: nh k?

This may sound a little blasphemous, but did you consider just calling the three-bet in the BB? CO is going to get all all his money in anyway (most likely) so you give up the chance to get an extra BB pre-flop, and in trade you (1) see if MP caps (and make back the 1 BB); (2) leave Button with the lead if you want him to have it (and he'll bet the flop almost always if it is checked to him), allowing you to donk if you like, or to have the chance to C/R the flop and face MP and all-in boy with two (presumably all-in boy calls, but you could knock out MP). I don't think I've been in this position with JJ and so haven't done it, but pretty sure I have with TT.

Post-flop, about the only thing I would do differently some portion of the time is to C/R the friendly turn -- but in so doing, I'd have to fold to a 3-bet. I'll often take the line you took given the prior streets' action.

Re: nh k?

w/MP in there i think u must checkraise the turn.
if u get threebet, foldism.

Re: nh k?

You have overlay from MP on the turn. Check/raise and dump if 3-bet.

I like the turn checkraise in theory but I'm not folding an overpair to an unknown's 3-bet in a pot this size at 10/20. Checkraising and calling down might still be best though. Not really sure.

What is 3-betting the turn that Hero beats? Am I right in thinking that most villains are not taking that line with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]?

Nothing sane but we are talking about an unknown here in a pretty aggro game. I think he will be overplaying or looney often enough that giving up the pot plus our chance at 2 outs is a clear mistake.
