10Js big draw on flop

Both Villains solid and aggressive.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

CO ($1054)
Button ($1001)
SB ($779)
BB ($1118)
UTG ($509.45)
Hero ($1671.85)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $5.
UTG calls $10, Hero calls $10, 2 folds, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($40) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $35, SB raises to $70, BB calls $70, UTG folds, Hero ? Whats my plan?

You have position and a cold-caller, this is not the time to get overly aggressive. Flat call and hope for a sexy turn card.

When is the time to get overly aggressive with a big draw?

being out of position with ackward stack sizes or lotta free money in middle + decent folding equity depending on your read.

When you can three bet all in as a normal raise. Also when you have alot of folding equity (aka when an opponent views you as a rock, or when you actually are a rock), and when there is alot of dead money in the middle.

I don't believe that you are being overly aggressive in the examples that you gave.

Re: 10Js big draw on flop

the problem with calling is that the flush draw is more bad than good. I either call playing it as basically only a straight draw or reraise trying to get that other flush draw the heck out and taking on the SB headsup in which you're almost even (including the two dead spades).
It's not automatic one of them has a flush draw however.

Problem 2 is if you hit that flush it's harder to get it paid off when it's the best hand.
