why c/r the flop?

this looks like a calldown situation to me, won't he bet AK unimproved on the turn alot?

Re: 25/50 QQ

this is a must calldown... u say he's a lag shorthanded, and 7 handed is shorthanded enough that he could be playing very agressively.... this could very easily be TT or JJ, it could be A9 (less likely judging from the cap preflop, but depending on how agressive, a possibility), it could also be AK hearts (or AQ hearts if u don't have the Q hearts).... it could very well also be AA or KK, but I think ur definitely good here enough to calldown

When he caps I'm very liely to just check and call 3 times.

edit: I meant as you go into the flop, not from the turn raise

Re: 25/50 QQ

unless he is really an "excelent player" not just an aggressive good player who always puts pressure on you, you have to at least call the turn. This is a very common play with jj or 10-10 or ak hearts and take a free showdown.

Re: 25/50 QQ

This hand really strikes me as WAWB postflop. 6-7 players is the edge of shorthanded, and also by LAG shorthanded do you mean laggy in the good way shorthanded or just nutty laggy?

Re: 25/50 QQ

Why not just check call to the river?

Re: 25/50 QQ

hey flawless_victory,

I find it interesting that you would only call the raise from the BB with QQ given that it's 7 handed. obviously you don't like the flop c/r given opponent's cap, but what is your plan if you only call out of the BB?
