3/6 NL vs a LAG (6-max)
 

I have about 900, villain covers. Villain is an ultra LAG, and pretty bad, but not totally clueless. I had actually heard about him on other tables before I sat with him (my first time playing with him).

One limper to me on CO i make it 24 with KQo, villain insta min-raises and will do (and has done) this with a wide variety of hands, especially on the button. He minraised me once before from the small blind when I opened with 78o and I called down his bets with a pair of 7's to the river where he showed a missed AQo (just for a frame of reference).

Anyway I call the raise as does the limper.

Flop (130): 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Qx

Checked to me I bet 100, villain minraises, I call.

Turn is a blank K, I lead for 250, villain calls.

River is a 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and I???

Pot it instead of 1/2 pot on turn and you'd have a much easier time on the river, as played you have more than half your stack in the middle. Given your read it doesn't sound like it's beyond him to chase a spade draw (AsKs finds a raise somewhere in there, so I think that's too good for his hand range) so check and make a read-dependent call.

Yes I kicked myself when the river hit, but I really expected a raise or a fold here, and I thought at the time my semi-weak lead would get him to push any Q or a spade draw. I was somewhat surprised at the flat call.
