18+ Tourneys!
 

Sup all,

I'm only 18 but already can't wait to bust into the Live Multi Tournament action. The only major tournament I know of that I can play in (in the US) is the Turning Stone Classic in Verona, NY.
I'm sure there are others but I don't know of any.
If you guys know of any major tourneys (say $1000 or higher) in the US that I'd be eligable for, I'd really appreciate it.

damn, you must have a large bankroll. You could try winning some sat. to Aruba or Bahamas. I think ZeeJustin has been talking about this recently.

You can't, but their are major non-wpt events in those coutries that some online sites have sats for. When your 19 you can come up to Canada, and you can play in the EPT events at 18, which is what ZJ and a few others did recently I believe.

I believe Canada is 18+... I was just there this last weekend. It's 18 for both drinking and gambling.

Although they show the EPT on TV in Canada, the EPT stands for European Poker Tour, so I don't think you'll be seeing any EPT events held in Canada anytime soon.

You can. There must have been 15 18-20yo's in Atlantis. Aruba is a little different since it's run by Ultimate Bet which is 21+ as a site, but I'm guessing direct buyins will be possible this year.

Depends on the province. Where were you?

If someone from Ontario answers, they will say 19 because they believe they speak for the whole country. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
