Oh heh... that\'s right, there\'s a name for that

aka, in which Dids attempts to trifeca a guy without realizing he is 'cause his hand keeps improving its AWESOMEness.

Party 5/10 6max.

I'm new to the table, but minimal mined stats and the first few hands tell me that the bad guy is probably not the bestest pokerer in the universe, little loose preflop but not a great read on his agression.

I'm in the BB with T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Aformentioned Dude raises UTG+1. Everybody folds, I call.

Flop is T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I check, he bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I call.

Turn is the Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I check, he bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I call.

River T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I check...

Too cute? Just lead vs. a guy who's mostly unknown?

Dids, some people will say you should lead the river.

Hogwash. You must go for the trifecta here and then post the hand in the BB&V forum.

On the serious tip, preflop, flop, turn = standard.

River... I don't think it makes a difference whether you CR or attempt to bet/3bet. Often when you CR he will 3 bet anyway, allowing you to cap.

And actually, I don't like donking the river because he may put you on a T and slow down with his retardedly played AA or KK.

In conclusion, TRIFECTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!11!

Also.... nobody slows down on the river, right?

Q on board + Q in your hand + Bayes Theorum = TRIFECTA + CAP CITY

There's no way I'm slowing down on the river. His action can be a lot of hands beyond QQ and as you point out, QQ isn't as likely.

I think he'll bet if you check and he'll call a three bet.

If you bet, I think he'll only call.

I Was informed by everyone on this board a long time ago, that if he 3 bets your checkraises, it doesnt count as a trifecta...sorry

as for the river. c/r him. He obviously has liked his hand enough on every street to 3 bet it, I dont see why he would suddenly puss out.
