$11 - I hate TT at level 3

Okay so I hate JJ and TT at level 3. I have a tough time playing it at all..opening, behind limpers, whatever. After a min-raise is particularly nasty. I have no read on the guy. Bones says I can just call, I've got enough chips. I think he's right.

I think that a call is OK. I'd probably be sorely tempted to make it 570 though, but I tend to get overly frisky with this kind of hand. In the $10s, I suspect that being over frisky here is fine.

The problem with the larger raise is that he's not last to act, and if his raise is too large he prices himself in to call against stacks he doesn't want to play with if they reraise.

Yeh, I was thinking that. In which case, 300 seems better? When I make that kind of raise I'm generally trying to say to the table "Hey, look at me, I want to be allin with the bb, do you REALLY want to play your AK?"

Maybe not too smart

Bones is right.

I'd just call preflop here.

i actually think you played the hand perfect.
but just keep in mind that if you get reraised you done with the hand.
the first raise dosent really mean anything 2xBB.he could have two over cards to you or he could have a lower pair to you.its possible he could have a higher pair but i really dont think so seen the raise is not that much.he could also have AA try to trap with the min raise but seen as you dont have any read on him its hard to say.
i dont like calling here because you dont really know where you stand and unless you catch a T on the flop its going to make things harder.

I agree with calling. I think I would raise with JJ in this situation to 300-400.

Um when you say fold to a reraise you mean from someone else, right? If he pushes over the top it's only 260 more to call. You're not folding to that, are you?
