Do you ever lay down QQ PF in level 1 and 2?

Hypothetical situation: 109 or 215 level. You both have 1k. Someone in EP raises to 60. You reraise to 150 with QQ. They move in. Do you lay it down?

Actual hand I had at 109. Level 1. It's the 3rd hand so mostly everyone has 1k. UTG raises to 50. MP calls. SB raises to 175. I'm in the BB with QQ. What do I do?

I called but I think it was wrong.

I think in the first situation it's a push. I can't see someone playing AA or KK in that way (certainly not AA.. KK is possible), so really the only hand you're worried about is AK -- but there are other this move could be made with as well.

The second situation is more difficult. I think I call as well, but I can't really decide. I can't find a fold here. Maybe a call followed by a fold after a push from either UTG or the MP flat-caller? That's my line. Or, actually, that would be my line in a 109 or 215 -- in the lower SNGs that I play, I would just push here.

I haven't. When I do I think I will be a much better player than I am today.

In 4000+ 55's and 109's I've folded QQ preflop once in early rounds, and that was after a raise, huge raise and push from 3 people.

I'd fold it if for example there is raise to 60, re-raise to 150 and re-reraise to 300 before me.

1st situation: I call. Sounds like AK.

2nd situation: I call. If original raiser pushes (or re-raises) and is called, I fold. If he just calls, I probably push any flop without an A or a K.

ah, the old limp-reraise with T9. i haven't folded QQ pre-flop in the 30's yet, but i did flat call one time.

the big blind raise scared me more than the limper did. Just didn't feel like BB was stealing. I am wrong at least as much as I am right though...JE

mlago,, I think people could certainly play AA or KK like that, why not?

I would push in all cases
