As played, I think it's fine with no reads. You're pushing out flush draws with the flop raise. When you don't take the pot down there something's up. Check the blank turn, and when MP doesn't check behind, I think you can safely say you're beat. Especially with a weird bet like $317.

I think, at the time, I wanted to know if my hand was good. I play bad out of position. This is such a spew.
