ATo river discision..

he is 62/8.6/0.7 after 266 hands

folded to me in CO, I raise with ATo, button call
flop is Ac8c5s I have a T of clubs. I bet he call, turn 6 of spade, I bet he call. river 7 of spade..
what line do I take here? and why?

Re: ATo river discision..

Bet-fold. You bet for value because there's a wide range of worse hands that could call you. A lower ace, a pocket, some pair, etc. It's unlikely that a worse hand will raise (a bluff), especially given his stats, so you can safely lay it down.

we need to be good about 5.8% on the river to make this call.. I think we are good here more than that against this opponent.
He is a bad player.. not all that passive.

You need to know his river aggression. It's either bet/fold or bet/call.

If you haven't seen any river bluffs or otherwise fishy river raises from him, how high does his river aggro have to be for you to call? What if you've seen him bluff/semi-bluff a few turns, but no rivers? How does that impact your decision when considering river AF and a bet/call line?
