HARDEST QUESTION I CAN THINK OF

I donno the answer to this problem, but I'm hoping some of you could solve it for me.

What is the probability of

1) top pair
2) bottom 2 pair
3) middle 2 pair
4) top 2 pair
3) three of a kind
4) nut straight

from the flop, being the winning hand.

thanks,

Re: HARDEST QUESTION I CAN THINK OF

Top pair of Aces is going to hold up a lot more than a top pair of 6's

Re: HARDEST QUESTION I CAN THINK OF

You can replace middle two-pair with top and bottom pair which wasn't on the list.

That being said, I don't think a precise answer can be given and I don't think the answer would be very useful.

Re: HARDEST QUESTION I CAN THINK OF

you need to tie down the variables a bit more to get some exact answers

for instance, taking only random hands into consideration, if you had top pair with JcTs and a Jd6d2d flop against two opponents you would win 47% of the time

with JcTs and a Jd6h2s flop against two opponents you would win 67% of the time

How did you mathematically determine that? I think this question would help me dramatically, when i'm first to bet with top pair and theres x number of players - so that i wouldn't get reraised when a scare card comes.
