Can results this ridiculous indicate poor play?

Since Christmas I've gone on the most ridiculous run I've ever gone on in my poker career. I'm up 1000 ptbb's at 1/2 nl 6-max, and I've only played around 1900 hands. With an event that is so far off what I would expect my normal standard deviation to be, is it likely that I am in fact playing badly in order to achieve results this ridiculous? I know 2k hands is a small sample size, but even so, these results are out there (at least from everything in my poker experience so far). I posted this in this forum because I didn't want people to just comment on the fact that this is a "thinly veiled brag post," which it certainly is.

Edit: I formatted my computer and haven't completely restored pokertracker yet, but my stats for this 2k stretch were around 26% VP$IP, 15% PFR.

Yeah you should probably try to play in a way that will win you less money.

Who cares if you're playing sub optimal. As Doyle says PLAY THE RUSH!

Certainly not unheard of, if I put in a good session where I get some great hands and get very few if any bad beats for large pots $1000 for 2k hands of NL100 6max isn't out of the question (I've done it before). And you're playing for twice those stakes. Just variance, live it up. Lucky streaks hit every type of player, the fact that you've profitted well from it simply means you're getting value for your made hands (unless of course you've been sucking out this whole time) - which is a good thing.

Earlier this month I hit 3000bb over only 3 days (of course I've been paying for it by breaking even ever since).

I cleared $1200 in about 7-8 hours of live 1/2NL once. It was just three really sick hands basically..

That was my thinking. I don't want to bust the entire poker economy.

There is no other explanation to you go on a rush like this other than the fact that you are playing terribly. Heehawin' it up all over the place and getting rewarded for it. Disgusting.
