3/6(6-max): Hooks

Hand is against a 30/10. Seems like his play is pretty straight forward for the most part. No real reads otherwise. Thoughts on the line? Do I look to fold anywhere?

I would just push the turn.

Hero betting 200 is effectively the same as going all in (villian is short). Played fine imo

Hero didn't bet the turn.

Yeah, I would just shove the turn. Get him off the hearts or get his top pair ace kicker in the pot behind.

Been running pretty bad. Ran into QQ. I figure this is one of those hands where you're just gonna pay the guy off.

I dont know how much I like this line if I'm you ace but to be honest i'm not sure what else you can do here. If villian plays with you at all he knows you like to push people around with big hands and draws I'm assuming. The call against you on the flop usually indicates a hand like TT or a set to me. It's also very possible he has an overpair to your jacks. Given your stack he doesnt really have great implied odds calling your flop bet on a draw.

The hand goes bad on the turn of course. Given your situation though I'm not sure what else you can do. I like the turn check, since a bet on the turn probably doesn't get a worse hand to call you (other than TT of course). If UTG checks behind you he'll now pay off a decent bet on the river with his pair (since it's unlikely he has overcards or a draw, very few cards can hurt you). If he makes a strong bet here, however, the indicates to me that he has an overpair or a set, since I feel like he would check behind you with only a hand like A9, trying to keep the pot small against a tricky player like yourself.

Given the stacks though, I dont know if I would fold to this bet. Realistically, unless you are playing a fairly aggressive opponent the only hand you can beat here is TT but your image does make people do some pretty crazy things.

I guess without more info than you supplied about villain I call this bet. I'm expecting you are beat at this point though.

I don't mind a check raise here if you think he's aggressive
