Firefox blank screens

This new Firefox 1.5 is pissing me off. It takes like 6 refreshes to see most screens because it just wants to load the screen completely blank and white. I've reinstalled it to no avail. What next? Thanks for any tips.

I've seen this problem with several different browsers on several different sites. It's most likely not Firefox. I suspect the site you're trying to hit is simply closing the connection rather than sending back data.

If you really want something other than Firefox to test this with, try Opera 8.5.
