Where to PlayNo Fold\'em Hold for July 4th - Driving From Houston

I am on days off and want to play some low limit no fold'em hold'em over the 4th of July. From Houston where do you all recommend going for the most action/frustration/lotto/ any 2 will do, "they were suited" place for hold'em?
Hollywood - Shreveport?
Lake Charles - Isle?
Coushatta - ?

Thanks, hope to see some of you there !

There's plenty of "gambooling" at the Isle of Capri. If you want to see your flopped top 2 pair get run down by a runner-runner flush, let's say he's got a T3s - then the Isle is your place!

It's a 3-6-12 game (so basically plays like a 4-8 from a $$ perspective) and the rake is horrible - but there's a ton of action.

I agree the Isle is the place to be for some great aciton.
Just remember two things. You can not bluff anyone off any hand. When you get the nutz you are likely to get paid off in more than one spot. Head up action allows for unlimited re-raising.

The Isle has the most action, Coushatta is a little nicer casino wise since it's not on a boat.

Coushatta is having a $100 buy-in single $100 rebuy $15,000 guaranteed NL tourney on July 3rd at noon if you are interested.

lol. I played at the Isle Saturday night. Couldn't get a seat at 10-20 at first, so I sat down at 3-6-12. Best hand of the night. I had QQ in MP, raised, got the usual 23 callers, and flop a set. Board is Q 2 7 rainbow. 1 bet to me, I raise, 17 callers, BB re-raises, I cap. Turn is K. Check to me, I bet, BB raises, I re-raise, he caps. River is K. Bet/raise/blah-blah/cap. He's got K 2 offsuit.

Pretty funny, altough I've seen alot worse...

One that stands out...

I have AJc in MP and raise 2 limpers. Of course, the rest of the field calls...

I flop top 2 pair on an AJ2 rainbow board. I bet, get several callers and LP raises. I re-raise and of course, everyone hangs on. Turn pairs the duece, which is not what I wanted to see...

Checked to me so I bet - 3 callers.

River is 4 and now the EP wakes up and bets.

Yup - he had pocket 4's.

Other players had QQ and A rag, of course...

Ni Han!

The 10/20 at the Isle is usually good - I've played the Harrah's 10/20 and it's been good as well.

Fun times at the Capri. The games are good, but the variance can be high. It makes for a long night when you are making a bunch of 2nd best hands...

i was just there two weekends ago, and i can assure you that the 3-6-12 game is as loose and crazy as ever. i played the isle and coushatta.the isle definitly has more games. but coushatta is a little friendlier, and the buffet is hands down much better than the isle. one player at coushatta said that he thought the isle buffet reminded him of prison food. for what it's worth, the locals at coushatta told me that harrah's is the nicest room but the dealers are bad. the 3-6-12 at both places is looser than any game i've played on the net -- even during the early afternoon on a friday. buy in and enjoy the ride.
