Maximizing STT EV for a Limit cash player

I play limit hold 'em 'professionally' but I have a $100 tournament ticket in my account that I need to use eventually. I used to play lots of NL MTTs and NL STTs, but that was a long time ago and I've pretty much forgotten the game all together.

My question is as follows:
It's probably fair to say that my EV in a $100 single table tournament is probably no higher than neutral, but since the only way for this ticket to become cash is to cash in a tournament, I figure playing a STT gives me the best chance to turn it into liquid.

What advice can you give me that will maximize my EV in a one time $100 10-man NL tourney?

I consider it to be a freeroll such that 3rd/2nd/1st = +200/+300/+500 rather than +100/+200/+400, although surely this is irrelivant.

edit: Starting stacks 2500, blinds 10/20,15/30,25/50,50/100,etc... 12 minute blinds.

Advice that citanul once posted, summing up STTs in 7 words...

"Tight early, Loose Late, Dont Call, Bet!"

I have found that to be very very usefull.

Damn, sounds like I can't avoid playing poker if I want to make some money here.

This may be a silly question, but why not just play a Limit single table tournament?
