Call!
You can't chase this flush draw then fold when it hits.

I think you're shown the nuts here more than 80% of the time, I fold.

Without UTG's stats I call in a heartbeat...

Looks like MP was chasing a higher flush though. This hand illustrates why passively playing draws is usually not profitable in NL.

You absolutely can. Maybe not in this spot, but you certainly can as a general rule.

Looks just as likely to me that MP had a 5, and was chasing his double ender, and hit his 3.

I call in a heartbeat...whats the point of playing with suited cards like that, and folding when you hit the flush. If he has the higher flush, I pay him off nicely. If you're not going to call when a flush hits, fold on the flop then.

Very possible he has 45 or 65 here. Plus, why is he overbetting the nut flush instead of a more realistic bet of say $20? That being said, I wouldn't like it, but I would still call.

I agree with Isura about passively playing draws like this. You can raise the flop with a flush draw and overs from the button when everyone has already shown you the strength of their hand. You ended up investing $7 anyways by the river, if you raise to $7 on the flop you maybe take it down right there, you hopefully knock out other draws, and get to the river likely for free as you can check behind on the turn.

Of course, itsy bitsy pot needs to be considered....I'm not sure I would play it differently than you did in the heat of the moment.

I specifically said "this flush" referring to the hand OP Posted, I know in general you can fold a flush.

Okay. But I could fold "this flush" on a paired river, on a hand with deeper stacks. I guess I just didn't like how it seemed like you were saying, "you hit your hand, you must go broke with it." I understand your point. And I probably make a crying call here...maybe.
