Okay, I have to rant here, otherwise I am gonna go bonkers.

I am 5th or 6th in chips with 14 remaining according to the empire window. 11th gets paid same as 20th.

Blinds 2k-4k, I have ~60k. Villain is a new player to table and has me covered by a little.

I look down, folded to me in SB, with 88. What's my play here?

Anyways, I push (good, bad, terrible?), and villain calls with QQ. gg me.

But wait! Empire says I finished in 10th.

W...T....F!!!!!

11th through 19th pays $27
10th pays around $35
7th pays ~$130
and so on

But.... but... there was 14... I just checked... 3 seconds ago...

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

*rant over. Abuse me if my 88 play sucked.

There were numerous, numerous short stacks at final table.

Had I know it was about to become final table, I don't think I would have made that move with 88. Not sure.

Had I just stayed tight and solid it would have been an easy net $100+. Instead I have a net of around $14.

that makes three. Ok, what was the hand? How can we abuse your play if we have no idea how you played it? Second, we are you upset at getting credit for finishing 10th when you really finished 14th? Why do you seem confused as to how many were left in the tourney? Don't you know how many players were left at your table and how many tables were left in the tourney? Finally, are you drunk?

WTF I posted the hand right there. I cannot possibly be drunk.

I had ~60k. 2k-4k blinds, no ante. Villain has me covered by a little.

Villain is new to table.

Folded to me and I push with 88. He calls.

I'm upset for getting 10th instead of 14th because had I known it was that close to final table, I might not have done that. When final table came there was 4+ stacks with less than 7BB. I had about 15BB...
