Aggression problems and the drunk

B&M 4-8. A drunk drinking bourbon and cokes has killed the last 5 pots so we've been playing 8-16 instead of 4-8. Drunk is in fact playing any two cards, because as the killer he has to post $8 blind.

I'm in late position with K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Folded to me. I raise. All fold, drunk in early position has opportunity to raise his $8 blind kill post. He just calls my raise.

Flop:

K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Drunk bets into me.

Now what?

Call and raise the turn.

I call all the way regardless of what comes unless the deck is really kind. I really want him to bluff his stack away here. I might throw in a raise for good measure on the river.

In a live game versus a drunk, i think waiting to raise on the river isn't a good move. He's more than capable of playing back at you with a crappy hand. I'd raise the flop, cap if he 3 bets.

Re: Aggression problems and the drunk - The Turn

Thanks for the comments so far. The hand continues...

I raise the flop. Drunk calls.

Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Drunk checks to me.

Do I...
Bet again, figuring my hand is still good and not wanting to give a free card.

Check. Play it safe. Even a drunk might find himself with an Ace.

Don't get scared. Previous hands are history. Bet and call a raise, call it down. So he has you beat? Keep at him with good hands, cuz you'll come out ahead playing the odds, unless he falls off his seat before you get the chance

Me too. Even if an ace falls.

Definitely bet the turn. I'm assuming he's a little loco, and he might "make" you for a king, and bluff-check raise you. If he CR's call, and call the river unimproved.

Re: Aggression problems and the drunk -- River

Thanks for the comments, seems like I played it ok so far.

I bet the turn and get check-raised. D'oh!

I'm not liking my hand so much any more, but I call, really wanting a K or Q on the river.

Instead, I get 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Drunk bets.

Do I have to call this?
