villain is TableCherry....a solid party 6max 1000 regular. Very smart and solid player.....he can get tricky... He has 3500 and I have 4500...approximately. Villain is BB and I am SB with J 7 offsuit.

Preflop:
Hero raises to $120, Villain calls.

Flop: ($240)
K T 3 rainbow
Villain checks, Hero checks

Turn: 9 completing rainbow
Villain checks, Hero checks

River: 8
Villain checks, Hero bets $240, Villain raises to $740, Hero thinks for 2 minutes and minreraises $1000, Villain goes all in instantly, Hero folds......

thoughts?

call the river CR. i would rather fold then raise right there, but call seems best.

Villain can't act before you if you're SB.

Fist of all, this 3-bet is really awful.
Second, what do yuou mean by "min"reraising? Villain bumped you up 500-a minreraise should be another 500 to 1240.
