make a big call?

Villain is a pretty big LAG, vastly loose aggro preflop, pretty loose aggro postflop. I believe him to be very capable of bluffing, although I haven't ever seen him show or get caught in a big one. He would definitely draw at a flush for a big bet on the turn.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed) converter

MP ($408.30)
CO ($806.86)
Button ($643.30)
SB ($302)
Hero ($439.90)
UTG ($426.77)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
2 folds, CO calls $4, 2 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: ($10) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $8, CO raises to $16, Hero raises to $60, CO calls $44.

Right, after this action I put him on either a made hand, which I made or may not be able to beat, or more likely a draw. He is pretty likely to fourbet the hands that beat me IMO. I am prepared to lay down if he pushes the turn, although that would also be tough.

Turn: ($130) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $100, CO calls $100.

Hate this bet, I think he'd call potsize with a draw here, so obviously I shouldn't bet less. Now I have him pretty firmly on a draw tho.

River: ($330) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $275

Yeah, I don't know now, pretty tough river. Anyone think I should call?

You didn't think about this before you checked the river?

Re: make a big call?

the only hand I can put him on is a busted flush /w or without a 5 in it, i look this lag up.

I think a stronger hand than yours would take another shot at you on the turn, but villain didn't. On the river looks like villain made a play at your weakness...gotta look him up.

Re: make a big call?

I see no reason for him to have a 5, but I see tons of reasons for him to pretend he does.

In the actual hand I acted pretty fast. You're not implying I should bet this river are you?

I'm saying that you should have had an idea of what you were going to do if he bets when you decided to check.

45 is double-gutted on the flop

Wouldn't he move with that on the turn, to avoid a flush card killing his action?
