you should post some hand histories.

maybe we can all work together to figure out what happened.

El D,

Are we to understand that you stood with 16 when the dealer had a 9 showing? No wonder you went busto.

Quizzically,

Claunchy,

No you f'in moron, he had a 6 showing.

Dude - you should seriously know not to stand at 16 with a 9 showing. You should probably post some more hands for us to review with you.

Tough beat. Play roulette online; it's a less swingy game.

Schneids,

ty for the advice. what are some good roulette sites?

Stinkybeaver 12-06-2005 05:55 AM

Re: b f\'in s

Nasty beat you got there Diablo....

But why exactly are you playing online BJ..? won't this game always be a long time loser..? And even if it's possible to win at online BJ then wouldn't you have a larger edge at the poker tables thus it don't make much sense to play BJ.

Reason I wonder about this is mainly because I was attracted to them games like roulette adn BJ before I got started with poker. As you can imagine the first wwas a losing game and the latter seems to be a winner.

Dude that is BS, there are two 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]'s

I'd e-mail Party support and ask for your dough back, they are usually pretty good about stuff like this.

Burno: WTF! THANKS! I did not even notice that I was so furious about the sick beat! I will def email them, thanks!

Stinky: I am playing perfect strategy and counting cards, so I have a pretty big edge.

Schneids 12-06-2005 06:06 AM

Re: b f\'in s

Plz do not count cards, it compromises the integrity of the house's edge. Doing such is cheating and makes me appreciate the karma that you've displayed in your initial post.

chuddo 12-06-2005 06:25 AM

Re: b f\'in s

wtf diablo. i just checked the history on that hand number, and you faked this entire hand. clever use of photoshop though.

in the actual hand diablo stood on a soft 14 against the dealer 9. dealer had 20.

also, it was only for 2 dollars, not 19.

are you that attention starved el d?

Ulysses 12-06-2005 06:47 AM

Re: b f\'in s

chuddo,

FU. Do not try to make stupid jokes out of my misfortune. You think that is funny? I lose $19 and you are like LOL IT WAS REALLY ONLY $2? FU. MAYBE SOMEDAY YOU WILL SAVE UP FOUR HOURS OF YOUR PAYCHECK AND THEN YOU CAN BET IT ALL AND SEE HOW IT FEELS TO BET $19 AND GET SCREWED OVER BIGTIME. IN THE MEANTIME, HOW ABOUT YOU GO F YOURSELF CHUDDO?

Scotty,

The table has $200 betting limit, so Martingale does not work. However, I still try it sometimes. Sometimes when losing, sometimes when winning.

If I were you I would be worrisome that PBJ is rigged to notice people doubling their bet sizes with every loss, so it will make sure you continue losing. I have friends who have tried the Martingale for 6 hours straight and they lost like $20,000 doing it. I think it might be rigged.

Or maybe its because that system makes you lose money faster. Genius.

Re: b f\'in s

el diablo,

even the best PBJ players in the world go on bad downswings like this.

even the best players do not play there A game when running bad, and suboptimal play can further inrease your losses.

some people may think that is the case here with you staying on 16 with a dealer showing a 9. but you made the right read that he had a little one and would be forced to hit.

he sucked out on you. but if you had taken the hit, you would have went bust anyway. this hand was a stone cold cooler, and you couldn't get away from it.

i recommend you save your PBJ bankroll and wait for the release of PPG (party pai gow).

a player of your hand-grouping ability will have a much greater edge in the game, and i suspect you will flourish at the highest of stakes.

good luck,
chuddo.

With an incredible 10% deck penetration at Party, everyone should definately be card counting. By running simulations over like hundreds & hundreds of hands, I calculated that using a 1-200 bet spread, you can reduce the Party house edge by a half. Later this month, I'm going to release the ElD count, specifically designed for PPBJ. At only $199, the benifits are huge:

- Reduces the house edge from 0.6% to an amazing 0.3%!
- Much bigger variance - swings are exciting!
- You have to restart the BJ table after every 41 cards!
- It actually works exactly how described! Or money back gaurantee!

Haahhahhaaa...

The dealer had a SIX showing, not a nine.

Surprisingly, all the posters who are DEAD WRONG in this thread are the smartest ones. Smart enough not to play PPBJ and know that PP reverses the dealer cards when they go face up.

Re: b f\'in s

the problem is that the dealer doesn't respect your bets at $19 BJ - you have to move up limits so that you don't get sucked out on

punter: $400? My bankroll is $1065, so f you and your negative thoughts.

stig: ty for the mathematical analysis, i will be running some simulations and posting them for everyone's benefit as well.

chuddo: ty for recognizing that even if i take the hit i would go bust and there was NO WAY TO WIN. however, also your little joke about him having a 9 showing is not funny as you know he had a 6 showings so you can go f yourself again, in fact, you can go do it with that dude beset.

schneids/daryn: i am also getting a little worried that this is RIGGED. i thought that unlike poker, this would be legit, but i am starting to have my doubts.

To the person that PM'd me:

"But if it really is a possibility to count cards in online BJ then I'd like to know so that I ahve an alternative game to play when I'm not up for poker."

If it were not possible to count, people would not play these games. I use BJassist heads-up view software to help, makes keeping track of cards really easy.

This is SO messed up. If you stand, the dealer beats you, but if you hit, you bust!! What kind of crap is that? SUE PARTY FOR NOT GIVING YOU A 49.5% CHANCE TO WIN LIKE BLACKJACK IS SUPPOSED TO LET YOU HAVE.

homie,

Is there baccarat online? I have not played before, but I watched some on TV and think I have a pretty good system now.
