AK misses again

Villians are pretty loose/semi-aggressive. Nothing fancy. On the flop, should I: bet/call, bet/fold, or check/call as I did. If I get called by 1 player after betting, do you fire again, or check/fold. It's these types of situations that I find very difficult especially OOP.

Ultimate Bet 2/4 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, Button calls, SB completes, Hero raises, UTG calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, Button bets, SB folds, Hero calls, UTG folds.

Turn: (5 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6 BB

I usually bet/call the flop, but against 4 opponents I don't hate a check/call.

I'd call on the turn too. It's very likely that your A's and K's are outs too.

Bet the flop, you are on a straight draw. If you get reraised, call. (Bet/Call)

Then check the turn. You have 4 outs to the nut straight, and then 6 more outs to pair one of your overcards. Since it's just you and the Button, call his turn bet, and fold the river if you don't catch your outs.

there are a ton of villain can be holding here that make our A/K outs dirty.

While this is true, we do still have a good number of outs here. Plus said flop bet might actually clean up our over outs. I don't hate leading the flop here.

Sorry, I somehow misread the first part of the post you were replying to.
Even so, I still like a turn peel. We're getting 6:1 right now. With 3 of our outs to the nuts (4 to the functional nuts), we don't even need 2 overcard outs between the 6 aces/kings to have the implied odds to peel. And there's not much that a 'pretty loose aggressive' villain could have here that gives us <2 OC outs.
The way it played out, I'd call.

Maybe, but I don't think it's that bad since most of the reverse-dominating hands that dirty up our outs would've likely raised preflop.

I think that would make a great band name. That is all.

Re: AK misses again

against just 3 opponents and one of them has already checked, I think this is a pretty standard flop lead.

On the turn, you should give yourself 3 overcard outs and 4 to the straight. Reverse domination is a concern as you'll loose one bb if you hit a tainted out and wont gain more than one bb if you hit any of your live outs. But you have more live outs than tainted ones so this seems like a +ev call.
