First time I've played with this guy. MP isn't a complete wackjob, and I haven't seen him do anything *completely* nuts yet, but I've seen him flip over a few bottom pairs and busted draws on the river, while betting the whole way. He's aggressive, but usually has *something* to go with his aggresiveness. Anyone keep raising on the river? I felt like a real wimp just calling.

Ok so at this point I'm believing that he at least has an Ace. Well, I don't think AJ is a possibility. JJ either, since he would have most likely raised pre-flop. Now 3's....definite possiblity I'm starting to think or maybe A3. I figure after I capped the turn and he's still leading into me, I'm either beat, or I get to add a new buddy to my list, and I'll know better next time. Should raising this river be standard against an unknown (esp. at .5/1) or should I wait till I know a bit more about my opponents?

Call vs an unkown. Make a note if he has A2.

Another question...say our positions are reversed (as in he just capped the turn on me)...I'm first to act on the river. I bet or check?

Bet and just call a raise, assuming you capped the turn.
