remove eurobet hijack?
 

When you close eurobet, it hijacks your web browser and goes to the eurobet page. Any way to get rid of this?

Edit your hosts file (usually at c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc for XP, c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc for 2000) in Notepad, and add a line to point from www.eurobet.com (or whatever web server that page is on, which is the bit after the // and before the first / in the address) to 127.0.0.1

You may have to undo this to be able to get to the rest of the Eurobet site (eg. Cashier) if it's on the same web server as the dumb Goodbye page.

i saw somehwat of a fix a while ago in here. this is for FIREFOX

type in "about:config" in the address bar

now i THINK these are the settings you want:

browser.link.open_external = 2
dom.disable_window_move_resize = true

these settings should open new URLs in new windows, and prevent the browser resize. then you can just close the new window that popped up and go back to what you were looking at.
