Stars not cooperating with anyone else? 12-16 2:00pmEST
 

Trying to load and losing connection with Stars server but all the other servers remain @ 100%. Anyone else having troubles?

PokerStars is currently experiencing troubles. If you're logged in, the games are fine. If you're not, the update is failing and you can't log in. To log in NOW, before the troubles are resolved, run PokerStars.EXE directly from the C:\Program Files\PokerStars directory.

This is only a temporary workaround -- once the update server is running again, you should go back to using the usual icon to ensure you get new updates.

Graphically, it won't look that much different. The key features are not "in your face". They include:

Third tier tabs in Holdem, Tourney, S&G lobbies, to further segregate / pigeonhole games.

Hide Full Tables control

Show Only registering/upcoming tourneys control

Sort games on multiple fields (by RIGHT-clicking on the header bar). Each sub-tab remembers its sort criteria independently and between executions of the software.

These changes will make it much easier to find the games that you want to play.

i played this morning with no problems. an hour ago i tried to log on and it told me i had to update the software. i have been trying but it's taking forever and it says the connection is bad. i e-mailed pokerstars twice and they haven't responded. life sucks
