3/6, nut flush no good?

I thought this was pretty routine. A friend who was sweating me disagrees.

3/6 NL, full ring, I limp A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG. 4-way action.

Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB ($600, no read) bets $15

I ($570) min-raise to $30

other guys fold

SB calls.

Turn: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB donkbets $25.

I call pretty quickly.

River: T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets $40

I make it $140

SB makes it $300

I fold.

I call there simply because donkeys would play a lower flush that way and sometimes even a lone 7, but I don't think the fold is that terrible against a solid player. It should be extremelly obvious you have a flush and he doesn't seem to care.

You don't think tiny bet + reraise = something close to the nuts?

That's a monster every time in my experience.

He doesn't seem to care that the board flushed.

There's no way for me to tell what the cutoff is between mid and high stakes. I guess it's 5/10?

What hands make full houses on this board? What hands make flushes?

He could easily be straight up bluffing with the scare card. Pretty simple at least call here. You think he just calls your raise with KsQs?

Re: 3/6, nut flush no good?

So people never min raise or value bet to represent strength? No way you can fold here, if you pay him off you pay him off, but there is enough hands that min raise here to warrant a call (KQ, Khigh flush, Q high flush or sneaky player trying to steal the pot)
