hold\'em better with 4 card board?
 

because i've been getting hammered on the river lately, i'm beginning to think hold'em would be better without a river.

what say you?

Hijack, but HE would be really great if the river was an individually dealt downcard.

River Down Hold'em, although HE would be REALLY great if you could bet the pot to get a sixth upcard.

If by "bet the pot" you mean pay money dead into the pot equal to it, and it would be optional after, betting has ended, that would be awesome.
