Hero bets 75, MP minraises to 150, I call ???

Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero checks?, MP bets the pot, Hero pushes, MP calls.

River: Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Stack sizes? Against many opponents you can fold the turn. Min-raise on flop should already have you worried, and after he bets pot on the turn, he's saying he isn't scared of the ace. You're probably drawing to a flush here if he calls.

"Read" has nothing to do with it once you get to the turn. You are behind 95% of the time here. Whether to call is a pure math question that cannot be answered without the stack sizes.

Don't like the line on this one - if you think that he flopped the set, then calling on the flop is good. But that means you need to fold the turn, despite top pair and a flush draw. But if you don't think he's got it, re-raising big, if not all-in on the flop is the play.

funny, I had a similar hand like this one, and the villian in my hand showed down 8s7s, I dont think the min raise only means "set".

Didn't mean to suggest that a set was the only possibility - but it is the most likely. Of course if he reads him for a draw, he should put in the big raise - he's in great shape against 78s.

set is the only possibility in this hand, id fold the turn.

Does noone like making a big reraise on the flop? or moving alin?
