Here's the link on MSNBC.COM

It's supposedly the biggest budget porn film ever made - whereas an average copy sells 5000 copies, this one is getting close to 100K. - Called "Pirates"

I was interested in at least inspecting it's worthyness of being great cinema... [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] - but surprisingly, a search on Pirates and Porn turn up way too many links to narrow down.

About 4 years ago, the biggest budget porn was another pirate themed flick called Conquest.

I've always thought Sex Trek was the most entertaining though.

I remember reading an article about 3 years ago with Michelle Branch. And she was saying something about a pirate fetish. (She's mentioned it a couple times, actually [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]) - and I'm like "nice girl like that making comments like that?

If you are truly a conniseur (sp?) of big budget porn, then you need to rent/buy the Bob Guccinoni's (of Penthouse) classic "Caligula" from 1979 or so.

It was a trainwreck of a movie that was a complete box office bomb. I think the price tag was around $17.5M or so...quite a bit in 1979. It found its niche in video/DVD sales and eventually became the Penthouse brand's all time #1 seller.
