first 2/4 experiance. QQ in sb. 5 handed
 

2/4 at absolute. Im in SB. This is my first 2/4 table which I decided to try for fun (im not switching yet). Its 5 handed.

When he capped the turn I said "@#$@# that! He has AA!!!". Hence I check the turn, planning to call. Then when I checked I and thought "you @#$$#@in moron! What are the chances that he has AA, and raised." I didn't mean to do it, but I sorta like it now that I did. I mean, he must have been sooo confused! And I was going to cry if he 3 bet.
What do you think?

If your capping the turn, then why are you check raising the river? If you cap this turn you should be leading this river or check calling. Not check raising. (You seem to already know that based on your statements) Im assuming he just called your river c/r? Or else you would have included it in the hand history.

You are beat by AJ, AQ, AA - Ahead of AK, JJ. Given his PF action, I think we can rule out AJ and AQ, and likely JJ. This is where you have to make a decision does he have the AA or the AK.

I think bet/calling is the appropriate line on the river. I can't find a fold here though.

cap the flop. the turn is close but I probably cap and then slow down if raised on the river. What is he 3 betting preflop that he is this aggressive with post flop other than AA, AK,AQ, AJ, or JJ? With AJ being not very likely and possibly even AQ not being in his range. Including AJ makes calling the turn 3 bet and c/c the river better, but I would discount this alot and likely cap the turn.

Don't worry. I play .5/1 and just tried 2/4 sorta as a christmas present to me:) I know aces full of kings is better then queens full of aces, I just didnt see that on the board. Something I have to work on.

This present that got this 90$ pot!

Results: He had AKo and MHIS

pf, flop and turn were all capped. I know its hard to read. I have to work on my hand posting as the converter doesnt work with absolute.
