7-stud bankroll

I want to start playing some low limit stud, just to get a feel for the game. im thinking .5-1 or 1-2. what size br would be big enough to cover the swings. 300xbb? more? less?

I have read chip reese's section on 7stud in supersystem 2. so i have some very basic information about the game.
also are there any good books/sites that have all of the odds for 7stud?

thanks

I might have deleted this thread had it not been for your post. I don't think I've seen this site before. I've only taken a brief look at it, and for trying to sum up the game of stud in a few paragraphs, it's almost OK. Some things I take issue with:

I think that most low-limit players leave money on the table by slow-playing trips. I've gone into some detail about this in the past. Perhaps some day you will have the opportunity to pay $29.95 a copy to see me lay out my reasoning.

I would rather have KQJs than TT4 or JJ6 in a loose game.

His suggestion that you usually fold a flush or straight draw on sixth street is terrible. By that point, the pot is usually large enough that you are getting more than sufficient odds to see the river card.

Roy West's book is better than this site.
