I only found 3. It's interesting how our brains filter out "unimportant data." Taking articles out of sentences (i.e. "the" and "a") makes the sentence just as understandable. I suppose that's why some languages don't have these types of words. Then again, other languages have long-ass words to compensate.

I think the fact that "of" is pronounced "ov" also helps...Most people read it phonetically in their mind and just "listen" for the obvious F's.

still using the word n00b ? my neice uses that a ton. she's 11.

i don't post in OOT anymore. i think it is generally filled with a bunch of idiots that may think they are being esoteric and clever. however, they just come off as pedantic.

the ones i care to intercourse with generally post in the other forums i frequent, so i am missing nothing.

this is exactly right. that is what is meant by the statement that the brain cannot process it. even when you stare at it visually, the brain is ignoring it because of the "ov" effect.

If you read the 'words', you'll more than likely see 3 F's........

I you look for the single letter 'F', you'll more than likely see all of them......

I chose to look for the F's.....

It was a good choice.

This doesn't really work for a lot of sentences.

Thats freaking weird. After I read that it had six I went back and closely examined it and still didn't see the OFs.

Yeah, but you're in Tempe and you're probably a Sun Devil. It's expected that you'd miss little things.
