New project with price

On the start of November 1st I will start my new project which is the following.

I'm going to limit myself to only have a bankroll of $50 and play MTT SNG's over at Stars aswell as MTT's. I will do this for a month starting on November 1 and ending on December 1.

I will start with the $1,50+0,25 Turbos and for each time I have 50x buyin I will move up a notch.

The reason behind this project is to see how far I can take $50 within a month. My goal will be to reach the 20+2 SNG's which would mean a bankroll off $1000 which won't be impossible.

So please take your guesses and the one that guess right on how much my bankroll will be by December 1st will get 20% of the bankroll. It can either be very much, somewhat ok money or nothing at all.

I hope this isn't OT, in which case I am really sorry but this is the forum I am the most active in and post the most.

I will keep live updates over on my blog:
http://nacaa.blogspot.com/

EDIT: The cash will be sent to your pokerstars account or neteller. No other way is possible.

Re: New project with price

I don't see how you can do this unless you're playing full-time and then why would you want to play at that level?

Re: New project with price

I'll say 387 dollars.

Re: New project with price

I am playing fulltime since I am unemployed atm. It's a fun challenge that I will take really serious upon just like I do with all challenges. 20+2 may be hard but it can happen...

Re: New project with price

edit: after thinking about this, I change my mind. $550

Re: New project with price

$732 The low limit SNGs have a huge ROI so you should be able to move up to the $5 quickly. The $20 may be hard to accomplish in 30 days but if you have the time then possible. Good luck.

Cool idea, I'll be checking out your blog a lot, I love these 'challenges'.

Assuming you never break the 50 buy-in rule 1000$ might be tricky unless you decide sleep is for the week.

I'll guess 428$.

Hope you prove me wrong though.

I'll guess high, since the reward is larger if I'm right. Might as well shoot the moon: my guess is a cool 1100. Best of luck.

Re: New project with price

I had a similiar type thing going ive got my BR to 5.5x what i started with and its stalling now but im only 2 weeks in, assuming I am just running bad as i was once @ 10x and stabalized, I am going to say you manage to get it to 818$.

Gonna be hard to step it up, it gets SUPER boring playin the
micro tables and often enough I have gotten victimized by opponents playing poorly(imo) and catching everything.

Then again i dont consider myself lucky....

I put in $70 in the end of july and have built my bankroll exactly this way. Would have probably had 800'ish today, but I won a $30 MTT that I had no buisness being in a couple of weeks ago, so my roll is a bit bigger.

Re: New project with price

Hehe yea but I once built my bankroll from these $1,5+0,25 SNG over at Stars the same way but with 30$ instead when I first started playing there. I am pretty used the standard in the low buyin ones so I have some great thought for this project.

robz0r - I played against you a few days ago in a .50+.10 at Absolute Poker. Contributed .50 to your little project I think (you were chip leader when I busted anyway). I think I was sitting just to your left.

These guys are nuts...no faith in Heaven. I say you're going to end up at $3,000. And when you do, my bankroll will have an even greater percentage gain...from $0 to $600.

P.S. When is the last time we can change our guesses.

What level do you normally play? I am by no means a high stakes player, usually $11's and $22's and I have had the odd low limit game and find it hard to take the $5 games seriously let alone the $1's,but all the best anyway...and I say $868...

I play everything that is up and running. Not over $200 buyin though unless I win a satellite.

This post alone made this thread worth reading!!! Had a great laugh at this thanks! As a UW-Madison guy I KNOW Oct has 31 days because of the crazy Halloween party that takes place here... if you don't know what I'm talking about get to Madison this Saturday for the craziest party of the year!

Ok that was a little OT... I'm gonna through out a healthy guess of $2138.20... Is this like price is right(closest without going over)? GL to ya... I love following these and will have to bookmark your blog.
